Northeast Missionary Baptist Family Camp

Camp Report for the Northeast Missionary Baptist Family Camp
We held our camp the week of July 24-28, 2023, at Cove Christian Camp in Cove, OR. Our camp theme was “The Chase,” emphasizing pursuing the things of Christ. We had 32 campers in attendance (16 were youth and 16 were adult campers).
While at camp we enjoyed classes, fellowship, games, preaching and good food. Our annual Thursday night Talent Show was filled with some great talented youth and adults. We shared lots of laughter and tears, with the highlight of camp being that we had 6 young people come to the Lord and others excited about their walk with the Lord. Personally, this was the first year my son returned to camp as an adult leader and left camp inspired to be our church youth director. We also have other adults who are stepping out to lead out various areas of next year’s camp. We are truly looking forward to what the Lord has in store for future camp efforts.
We have already secured our dates for next year’s camp. It will be held at the same location during the week of July 22-26, 2024. We would like to thank everyone who came and helped make this year’s camp such a sweet success.
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
