Northeast Oregon Camp
July 2022
July 2022
We were blessed to be able to hold camp this year after a two-year hiatus. Camp was held July 25-29, 2022 at Cove Christian Camp in Cove, Oregon.
Our theme was Undefeated. “But thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!” 1 Corinthians 15:57 was our theme verse.
We serve a God who has never lost. His string of victories is unmatched. He has dominated the competition throughout history. He is the ultimate competitor with a game plan that cannot be stopped. God is holy. God is mighty. He is UNDEFEATED!
We have 22 campers in attendance, representing four churches from Oregon and Washington. We held classes, outdoor activities, fellowship hall group games, nightly song service with preaching and campfire. Every year on Thursday evening we have a talent show, and we weren’t lacking for talent this year. It was great fun for all!
As a result of camp, many seeds were planted. One young man from the Nyssa church accepted the Lord as his Savior the Monday after camp. The Hermiston church had three come forward for baptism.
We are thankful for all who attended and participated in making camp a great success. We don’t have definite dates for next year’s camp; however, it should still be the last week in July. Once we have final dates locked in, we are share that.
