STATE LADIES’ AUXILIARY REPORT 2021
The Oregon State Lady’s Auxiliary met August 20, 2021 at the Hillcrest missionary Baptist Church in Oregon city. There were 16 ladies present with 11 churches and one mission represented. We opened with a song and Sister McFarlan of the Madras Missionary Baptist Church lead in prayer.
Our Vice President Sister McFarlan of Madras gave a wonderful introduction of herself and her testimony of salvation and then gave a devotional on Psalm 1:1 and how we can mingle in a godly way and not walk in the counsel of the ungodly.
Following the devotional, we jumped right into the business session. The letters were read and the messengers were seated. The 2019 minutes and treasurer’s reports were read and approved.
There was no old business.
For new business sister Gale Chandler updated us on the progress of the 2022 lady’s retreat.
A motion carried that designated our offering to Sister Hayes.
A motion carried that designated our 2021-2022 state goal to be Brother and Sister Hayes.
